From the many waterfalls and glaciers to puffins, whales, and stoic horses, find out why Iceland is currently one of the world’s top tourist destinations! Join us on our 9-Night photo tour, from August 13th to August 22nd of 2022. We will be driving the famed Ring Road and ferrying to the Westman Islands, covering more than 1,000 miles in all. We have spent significant time exploring Iceland and are ready to share our favorite destinations with you!

The tour will begin by 11am on Saturday, August 13th at the Keflavik International Airport or at your accomodation in Reykjavik if you decide to come early. We will be spending the first few days in the south of Iceland visiting iconic waterfalls including Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, and Skógafoss as well as ferrying out to the Westman Islands for two days/one night where we will take a puffin & volcano interpretive tour before returning to the mainland and venturing east to Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier, for an ice lagoon boat tour. From there, we will visit sights and waterfalls throughout the eastern highlands, spending an evening in the quaint port town of Seydisfjordur ending up at Lake Myva for a warm soak in the Myvatn Nature Baths. From Lake Myva, we will travel to the northern fjord towns of Húsavik and Akureyri for two consecutive days of whale watching tours. After departing Akureyri, we will drive around the scenic Troll Peninsula, stopping for another soak at the cliffside thermal pool in Hofsós before driving to Reykjavik for the final night of the tour.
